Apply A Random Hue To Pictures With One Click Using Color Surprise

The moment you decide to try something other than the native Paint application in Windows and turn to internet to find a suitable alternative, you’ll see that there’s an image editor for almost any specific image-related task. For instance, some programs allow you to resize a group of photos in a batch without any hassle, while others simply let you tweak photo brightness a little bit. And then there are the applications with all the bells and whistles, and an expensive price tag to go with them (read: Photoshop). The image editor we have at your disposal today is a free, fun-filled program with a few surprises under its sleeves. Color Surprise is a dead simple Windows application that allow you to randomize the overall color of your favorite images or 3D art. It basically cycles through various hue patterns and brings something new to the table from the mix each time. It’s not a very feature-laden image editor in any way, but instead provides you with a simple way to experiment with various color effects on your favorite images. Details after the jump.

Upon launching the app, you’re presented with a blank canvas at the center. So the first thing you need to do is to load an image file of your choice, by clicking the Open button at the top-left to browse to the location of your desired photo. Once you’ve added the image, you’re ready to go.

Color Surprise isn’t a tool with a plethora of photo filters or unusual image cropping abilities; it doesn’t even let you rescale images to your favorite size. Instead, it’s a tool designed with simplicity in mind, to surprise you with some new hue effect whenever you click the Randomize button at the top-right corner. Some of the colors effects look surprisingly great and perfectly match the overall tone of image. The application can come really handy to quickly spice up your Facebook or other social media photos without requiring any photo editing skills.

Other than color randomization, you can also zoom in or out the photo and take printouts while keeping your applied effect. Once you’re happy with the current look, click Save to store the output file. The application allows you to save the image in a multitude of formats including JPG, PNG, GIF, PCX, BMP and TGA.
